Bug Description
Tested this and have been able to replicate across two different machines, one with Intel i3945 Wireless and one with Realtek Wireless.
After initial 10.10 Install, when the Wireless adapter connects to a network for the first time, the laptop touchpad will stop working and it becomes impossible to move the cursor. This is rectified by either restarting the machine, or turning the touchpad on and off (if the laptop has such an on/off switch).

are you able to CTRL-ALT-F1 to a terminal? If so, could you attach the output of running 'dmesg' after this event has occured?
