Still happens on a Lenovo X201s with i7 (turbo boost enabled), if under heavy load (11.04, 64-bit).

After all the "limit exceeded messages" I get twice:
"Critical temperature reached (100 C), shutting down."
and then offcourse the system goes down.

I'll contact Jg-jguk ( <email address hidden>) to contribute to the bounty... Please do the same if you're annoyed by the bug.
