Alejandro: Does your computer halt always at the fourth suspend? I have been using 64 bit Maverick for some time now, and I have not seen such systematic failure with the 64 bit version.

However, I have plenty of problems with 64 bit Maverick while disconnecting and reconnecting external display and trying to suspend and resume.
