Same here with Atheros AR5005G wireless network adapter. Some pages (like google) work well, but most websites don't load due to a timeout or load very slowly. Update manager is affected, too. Downloads take some time to start, but then, once started they work well (7 Mbps).

Running Maverick, latest updates (Sept., 10, 2010)
