Sorry, I found an answer to the ERROR: (0x03:0x0101): Invalid command opcode:opcode=0x85 problem:

I chose to ignore this message now. :) These answers made me realize that apart from the warning, my problem does not seem anything to do with the bug described here. So sorry for the noise...
