Absolutely. It's been a while since I've done a kernel patch and compile, but I suspect it's like riding a bike.

I have not had a "natural" MIC failure yet this morning, but I've also been thinking about the most graceful way to generate it. I suspect with maybe three clients, two of which just cycle disassociation/reassociation, I'm betting the third will fail with fifteen minutes or so. Headed to lunch, and will then attempt to tickle the bug.
