Comment 9 for bug 575000

I think this bug is kernel-related, as uvcvideo and rt73usb are part of the actual kernel and I had the same problem not only with (k)ubuntu, also with opensuse.
Now, after 5 months that I posted the bug, nothing has happened. This is my first bug report, so is there something missing that the ubuntu-developers or the kernel-team takes note of it?
