I do not know. If I understood correctly, it seems that the line I
removed to get it working (which I took from another bug tracking web
page) is necessary for some E6510 and hurts other E6510s (mine, for
example). I think that kernel 2.6.35 is the base for 10.10, and so far
I have not seen any post-rc6 version working in my laptop, let alone one
where the external monitor also works, which is must for me. Therefore
I decided to compile a it myself.
