Bernhard, I've only tried 32bit. Frankly, I was surprised to hear this is 64 bit hardware, but you are right, it is. Still, what benefits do you expect? I'm not very familiar with 64 bit vs. 32 bit, but a bit of research seems to indicate you aren't likely to see an improvement. Please try the 32 bit version, but if you insist on 64 bit, please open a separate ticket for it. The OP was using 32 bit.

To wrap up, it seems that most people get a working system without the problems initially described if they update the BIOS and run the daily UNR lucid live CD. Please report back if that is not the case.

Wifi is a separate issue, let's deal with the keyboard problems and kernel oopses only in this ticket. Missing support for the new wifi chipset has already been reported upstream, patch is available and reported as working, so we can expect a working kernel soon. Lucid kernel may have to be patched from upstream, though. Once it becomes clear if that is indeed the case, I will open a separate ticket.
