maybe Ming is trying to say, do this:

1) started a capture using this command:
 cat /sys/kernel/debug/usb/usbmon/1u > /tmp/1u.mon.out

2) connect the external drive

3) copy a file to the external drive

4) kill the capture with CTRL-C

5) zip and add attach 1u.mon.out.zip here.
