No, the pulse task is set to wontfix because there is no way to fix it for
all codecs exposing such a control.

Surely you understand that this is a hardware problem and that any
workaround belongs in linux. Please open a linux task, and reset the pulse
task to wontfix.

Yes. The proposed solution maybe risky.
But NO, the problem fix is NOT risky. The problem fix IS necessary. Because
the problem itself IS there. It confirmed by three different people.

If proposed fix is risky, then developers should find a not risky
solution.
