@Pablo: "sudo apt-get install acpidump" will install the required package. As the vendor option does not work, boot without it and also add the "grep -r . /proc/aci/video"

@lordfreak, even though it is pretty similar (or the same), please use/create a new bug for that. You have a different laptop model then Pablo and more often than not, this results in different issues. It is better to dup things later, when finding, that things really are the same issue.
