All right!! It seems to have fixed my issue :). Mem=1G allowed me to boot the amd64 installer.

as a boot option. This made the Ubuntu 10.04 amd64 live cd boot with no

Check with MD5sum, burn in 4X & burn 3 times ! (not on RW)
I boot on this CD, I have choice to select 'live mode', 'install it' ...
When I select any choice, it hangs on the blinking cursor "_"
