Comment 4 for bug 462729

My problem may not have been a 2.6.28-16 kernel problem after all. I had another crash after going back to 2.6.28-15 (!!); then, I went into the BIOS setup options and lowered the RAM speed, booted up with 2.6.28-16, and the machine has been running stably for the past three days.

This doesn't mean there aren't any problems with 2.6.28-16, of course -- only that my problem is most likely not due to this kernel version.
