I'm using Lucid kernel, 2.6.32-22-generic #33-Ubuntu SMP
my vx1000 webcam works fine for Video, but no mic.

In preference->sound->input I changed to "LifeCam VX-1000 Analog Mono", but still can't see the mic picking up sound.
