Same problem here on MythTV:

- pops and clicks on sound
- degraded video with artifacts and "swirls"

The signal seems to be good... The card is Pinnacle PCTV 310i. On 2.6.28, everything was fine... Problem appears when upgrading to karmic.

I've also tried 2.6.32-9 ... same issue
