think we did enough compiling ; it is clear that we cannot reach < 50 ! the range is in between 300 - 500.

So may be S. Diestelhorst should report our efforts to the kernel - developers - that they have to build a new timer.

What are u thinking?

Besides we can work with the compiled ones. For my compiled kernel (my last try will be 400 the long way 4 hours) i will upload them to a shared folder in ubuntu one for my special netbook, so that other poeple can use the compiled ones .
