Comment 1 for bug 435163

I have the same issue on Acer Aspire 5720Z. I have read about Acer related ACPI bugs a lot and all of the descriptions seem slightly different, some people say their fan is on all the time, some have problems after second suspend, the one above seems to be closest to what I experience and I can say that the problem for me appeared only after upgrading from Jaunty to Karmic (Released version, not alpha or beta).

Please let me know what other information would be helpful.
