Provided your mirror has already got 2.6.31-12, just remove the patch #32 and upgrade:

sudo rm /etc/modprobe.d/i915.conf
(sudo update-initramfs -u)
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

It's now working perfectly fine on my computer. (The cursor flickers a bit during startup but I don't mind)
