Comment 5 for bug 421095

I had the same experience on a fresh install and installing the fwcutter with the hard link up to fetch the firmware, but after the first reboot the wireless ceased to function. It would detect the networks available, but would not connect to either unencrypted or encrypted wireless network. Was a short lived victory :(
