same here, while trying to test karmic alpha 5.
On a toshiba satellite P300-1HO, wifi doesn't work. and neither does wired ethernet.

ifconfig just shows the loopback device.

And moreover the wired ethernet device doesn't show up either, but I don't see related messages in the logs. (But I have to investigate further.)

it's with the x64 kernel.

works fine with jaunty, kernel 2.6.28-15.
