My machine breaks down during shutdown with a message similar to (sorry couldn't copy and paste it):

"trying to resume from /dev/disk/by-uuid/d45a2592-ac95-478d-9d23-ab18affd8619 "

and I checked and this drive is actually the swap space on my machine.
