Comment 14 for bug 412807

Using pavucontrol, I am able to select the headphones as output. This is a workaround for now; It requires the pavucontrol package.

Expected behavior when plugging in headphones is to have the jack detected, mute speaker, tell ALSA route to headphones, (this is where i think is breaks) tell PulseAudio to route to headphones (which is done manually with the above workaround).
