Hello,
the card works with the 9.10-driver.
If there is any possibility to install the driver from Beta 9.10 on the 9.04 system ?
I need a stable working system asap, and can't wait til the end of the month. :-(

I have a Netbook with JMicron Gigabit Ethernet JMC260.
On Ubuntu Netbook remix 9.04 the LAN connection does’nt work.
The Beta 9.10 does. My Problem is that I have to produce many of the Netbooks and it can’t be a Beta Version on it.
So my question is, if there is any possibility to install the driver from Beta 9.10 on the 9.04 system.

If there is a bug, and a fix released for it, it should be backported. Or you can make a request to do so. This may take longer than simply waiting for 9.10 which is less than 3 weeks away. I'd check it out and see whether or not the backport is available, if not then hang on til the end of the month.
