When I connect my external harddrive (USB) nothing happens.

This harddrive works on windows and another jaunty laptop. I tried it on my laptop (karmic) with jaunty kernel (.28) but doesn't seem to work as well. Pitti and myself tried to hunt it down by running devkit in debug mode and the result was:

My bug somehow seems related to Bug #244354 but I already tried using a different USB cable but without any effect.
