I'm seeing very similar issues to those already posted with some slight differences. Brasero and nautilus both do not recognize blank DVDs, burned DVDs or packaged data CDs. I am running a 2.6.32 kernel which according to other similar bug reports has fixed various CD/DVD issues but not for me. I also have brasero-2.30.0-0ubuntu1 installed which is greater than the 2.28 which I have also seen in other bug reports as having this issue.
