Comment 22 for bug 395239

Hi, i'm Jeroen Wolff form the Netherlands.
I've got the same problems. I want to use my own DSDT binary during startup.
This is becuase my fan on Compaq 8510p is blowing a lot!!
With the DSDT fix i've managed to lower de temperature setting for the fan to start blowing.
On openSUSE 11.1 i could make it work with tools like iasl (see http://forums.opensuse.org/new-user-how-faq-read-only/unreviewed-how-faq/386054-how-fix-your-buggy-dsdt.html)
Now on 11.2 i have to do it via the mkinitrd....but no luck so far.
What can i do?
