Hi all...
The addition of "nomodeset acpi_backlight=vendor" to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX in /etc/default/grub (with subsequent update-grub) used to work ok in my NB (Toshiba Satellite Pro T110 009007) with 9.10 and 10.04 beta1. After installing 10.04 beta 2, it no longer works. Not even the notification bar when shows-up with FN+F6 or FN+F7 (neither the FN+LEFT_ARROW or FN+RIGHT_ARROW)
