Christopher,

As I have said earlier, I still have this bug when using fglrx, and
that has forced me to use the open-source driver. You're asking me to
change drivers, reenact the bug, and then file a new bug report, which
will then be marked as a duplicate or Incomplete. In the meantime,
Wong Yong Jie posted a valid addition to this bug report with
appropriate kernel debug info and traces, but you deleted it and all
of his attachments. You also removed Luke Plant's report and
attachments and told him to re-report the bug. And after deleting
these logs, you marked this bug as "needs-kernel-logs", and you marked
it "Incomplete" in spite of it clearly being confirmed by multiple
users.

You never answered Luke when he said:

> I've just uninstalled the fglrx drivers since this is a critical issue for me. However, if you can assure me that you are actually intending to do something about this, rather than just find a reason to cross this bug off your list, then I will install it again and follow the steps you posted.

I feel the same way. I do not want to go to all that trouble just to
have my bug report marked Incomplete or Duplicate again. That's
happened to me too many times on other Ubuntu bug reports. I feel
like you are asking us to jump through too many hoops when we have
already done that. Debian doesn't treat bug reporters this way, with
such bureaucracy.
