Bug Description

ata_generic.ko module is still missing. It was reported for previous builds: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/315006
It prevents some motherboards form functioning properly since all_generic_ide kernel option doesn't work any more.
As the result DMA is disabled which makes any CROM reading or burning almost impossible.

Here is the message from dmesg:

A temporary workaround: use other kernel, ie: linux-image-386
The ata_generic.ko module is present there.
Please add this module in the generic flavor!
