Bug Description
Sound reproduction works fine. Sound capture does not work at all, neither on the sound preferences test, nor when using programs like Skype. It didn't work with Ubuntu 8.10 and still doesn't work with 9.04. Total silence.

I don't understand why the Problem Report located the problem within the Firefox package. Sound capture doesn't work independent of Firefox.
