The alsa-info.txt file is actually generated from running the also-info.sh script that is mentioned at:

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingSoundProblems

http://alsa-project.org/alsa-info.sh

I usually just run `./alsa-info.sh --no-upload` and it will dump the output to /tmp/alsa-info.txt
