I dumped the Video BIOS as strings using od -S 3 rom.bio In this way I found the promising strings
NA-2501 CH-7009-A NA-2501 NA-2501 National Semiconductor 2501 BMP_NSLVDS_StartNA-2501 BMP_NSLVDS_FPDATA CH-7009-A Chrontel Inc. 7009
The Chrontel CH-7009-A is supported by the ch7xxx driver and it is used within i830_dvo.c.
What about the National Semiconductor NA-2501 chip, does it have X.org support? I think this is the National Semiconductor NA-2501 datasheet http://www.national.com/ds/DS/DS90C2501.pdf#page=1
The same strings are in the Video BIOS dump from Hernan Pastorizas S6110 too.
Kieron Gillespie could you please also dump the Video BIOS of your Fujitsu Stylistic ST4110?
