Comment 38 for bug 356631

The values which are miss-reported are coming direct from the drive via scsi-passthru on the SG device, the kernel is mearly passing this data back from the drive. It would appear that these drives are simply returning false information and if we wish to work around them we are likely to have to do so in userspace.
