I just saw something odd happen that may be related. I was using Skype and it started to see lost incoming packets, which is normally a sign for me that I'm about to lose the wireless connection. Today it held on by its fingernails and suddenly kicked back in. dmesg showed:

This looks nasty, although I'm impressed that I didn't lose the connection completely. I'll keep monitoring.
