MM. Forgot to follow up this bug after a while. Taylor, I discovered that the message indicated that the swap was corrupted (probably due to some kind of error or maybe disk damage, I can't tell that from here ;-) ). You should format your swap, and correct the right configuration files in etc (fstab and another one) so that they point to the newly formatted swap (report the uuid, visible for example askign for more information about the swap in Gparted).
