It still doesn't work for me and I hear only silent noise.
Matt's "temporary fix" works. But as I see it's rather ugly since it just kills pulseaudio.
What is more - as far as I remember in Hardy I was also using the testing version and the sound was broken as well. And I was only able to hear that noise.
