Comment 7 for bug 320578

Blame the update manager. It tells me I have updates. When I run it ,
the "2 security updates" keep showing up with the rest (if any). It then
sends off the report. I suspect that if an update fails and is now "old"
(already replaced by a newer version), then the "old" update should be
dropped from an update. You may also want to consider having whoever
makes changes to the update manager consider reporting the change
and then deleting it when the next time the update manager is run, i.e.,
start with a "clean slate".

P.S. Thanks for your siupport of the project. I (and others) appreciate
the time and effort you and others put in to make changes, updates,
etc. to the Linux effort.

Brian, How is it that I keep getting three responses, all the same, at
least twice a day. I don 't need this, basically it constitutes SPAM,
since
it doesn'y give me any way of solving the problem!
