Ok, so you're asking a bunch of questions you really need to sit down with an adviser to discuss. The best thing is to find one. If you're broke as fuck, seek out a local Small Business Administration office, or call one of the law clinics in Boston. Most of the law schools have law clinics, including those focused on small business, and will be taking clients as the new year starts.
Mostly I'm pointing you this way because it depends on a lot of stuff you don't mention and I don't want to get into. (Like what your assets are, what the names you're thinking of working under are, if its just you, or who else is working for you, etc).
