This is actually a duplicate of bug 311716 so I am marking it as such. Please continue to track this issue at that report. A kernel with a possible fix was uploaded to intrepid-proposed if you wanted to test - https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/311716/comments/11 . But please provide any feedback in bug 311716. Thanks.
