I attach the logs you requested. The lspci log is made after successfully booting the system with the pcmcia card
inserted (had to boot several times to get there). Once in the gnome desktop I removed the card, reinserted it (which
caused the usual freeze of the system) and removed it again to unfreeze the system, so at the end of the log you
can see exactly what happens during the insert->freeze->remove->unfreeze sequence.
