well, either my X61 doesn't like booting usb drives or usb-creator fails to create one properly, but I just can't seem to boot from usb. I am leaning towards the former because in BIOS when I configure the boot order there's a minus sign in front of USB HDD.

Anyhow, I tried! But I can't test this.
