I think the problem is V4L1.
This webcam works fine with V4L1 and V4l2 on hardy (and gutsty, and feisty).
Chesse uses only v4l2, but amsn and skype use v4l, so they don't work.

I tried "export LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so"
but it doesn't work
