well, i have Debian (sid) but i guess i found a workaround/solution to this issue (i had it too) add these 3 lines to the end of /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base
options snd-hda-intel model=3stack-dig options snd-hda-intel enable_msi=1 options snd-hda-intel single_cmd=1
run "alsa reload" at the console :-)
