I updated my intrepid with the latest 2.6.27 kernel. Sound is still not working. Booting to 2.6.24-5 still gives me sound. This issue does also appear in 2.6.26.

Actually, we'll use your original report as the primary bug report. I'll go ahead and mark this as a duplicate of your original bug 209047 . I see you already updated that report with a comment that this is still an issue with 2.6.27 which is great. Thanks.
