I disagree that the message is harmless.

I see a distinct drop in response to my USB keyboard on the machine running Intrepid v.s. a nearly identical machine running Hardy. There are other processes affected as well, that's just the most obvious. The process generating the message is running in a tight unending loop. This never a good thing for an operating system routine to do without purpose.
