Comment 9 for bug 252004

I am also experiencing this bug, in Karmic Koala.

I currently have 5 uninterruptible evince processes. It says they're stuck with waiting channel "real_lookup".

I can not get rid of these processes without logging out/in or rebooting (both unacceptable when other running tasks need to stay running).

Every new evince process becomes uninterruptible, and it is impossible (!?) even for root to stop these processes (sudo kill -9 does nothing--which I feel should never be the case with usermode applications).
