Comment 4 for bug 251664

I'm testing the new kernel, I have sound if I add "options snd-hda-intel model=3stack-dig" to the file /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base (with the same problems already reported). But i can't be sure that the sound work due to the new packages alsa or due to the alsa driver i have compiled. Nevertheless they are no reason that the ubuntu packages of alsa 1.0.17 don't work with the sound card ;).
