I had switched to SATA DVDs a while back but I tried to get a PATA running
and ran into the kernel detecting my cable as a 40 wire when I knew it was
80. My suspicion is that even when it thinks it is an 80 wire, it chooses a
DMA level that cannot be sustained. I put in a SATA instead.
