Comment 3 for bug 219662

This isn't working ...
I just bought the eeepc 1000h, installed ubuntu 8.04.1 dvd version.
I am total newbie for linux and i want to give it a go.

I did as I was told : shutdown at disconnect the power cable and the battery for some seconds....but same story.

I there another solution ?
